Mr. Melt Calcium Chloride is a palletized flake product, which meets ASTM D 98 and AASHTO M144 requirements for calcium chloride purity. Melty is highly effective down to -25° F.  It is designed to melt through the snow and ice to assist with removal from streets. As soon as Melty comes into contact with water it begins to release heat. MELTY lasts up to 12 hours and contains a minimum of 80% Calcium Chloride.
